On August 7, 2018, Sarah Jo Plucker-Wright was driving through an intersection when a semi-truck driver ran a red light and struck her vehicle. She had to be extricated from her car by first responders.
Sarah Jo’s leg was broken in half and had to be repaired with a titanium rod. She has permanent nerve damage, burn scars across her neck, and internal scarring in her abdomen.
