On February 5, 2015, Livia’s sister, Sandra Maddamma, was driving on I-71 in Ohio when traffic began to slow down. Sandra’s car was struck from behind by a tractor-trailer. The impact of the crash pushed her car into the center lane where it struck another car. Sandra died from her injuries.
