On April 10, 2014, Anthony Fulps’ mother got the worst phone call a mother could ever receive. The bus that Anthony was on had been in a crash. He was headed up north to Humboldt University to tour the college.
He had recently been accepted to attend, and they offered him a free tour. A FedEx double tractor-trailer had crossed over the freeway into oncoming traffic and collided head-on with the bus. Unfortunately, it is unclear why this happened.
That day, we lost 10 beautiful people. Anthony was severely injured and spent a week in ICU. He suffers from PTSD and his right arm will never have full normal function, but he has pushed through it all and is one strong human.
He graduated from Hunter College in 2021 with his BA in Psychology.
