The Truck Safety Coalition is seeking a First Response Coordinator!
The Truck Safety Coalition (TSC), a partnership between Citizens for Reliable and Safe Highways (CRASH) and Parents Against Tired Truckers (PATT), is dedicated to reducing the number of deaths and injuries caused by truck related crashes on the highways.
The TSC is a nonprofit organization that provides support services to truck crash survivors and families of truck crash victims, and works with volunteers to advocate for improvements in truck safety.
The TSC seeks an effective, compassionate individual with a background in counseling to work on direct outreach to victims’ families and survivors of truck crashes and provide support resources to the those in need. The successful candidate will have strong communication skills, be highly organized, and strong attention to detail.
Candidate should also be compassionate and committed to helping individuals coping with grief and/or trauma. This is a flexible part time internship that can vary in duration, preferably 12 months and require a minimum of 10 and up to 20 hours a week.
