On December 17, 2008, Ronald Alleman was killed in a truck crash after icy roads caused an empty tandem vehicle to jack-knife.
Large tandems are not very stable, and bad weather conditions can make them slide around and become extremely dangerous to nearby vehicles.
Ronald was a U.S. army veteran, and was honorably discharged in 2003. He also worked as a chemist, and loved to fish, hunt, and grill for his family. He is survived by his wife, Lisa, and his child, Grey (Elisabeth), who was less than two years old at the time of the crash but still misses their father every day.
