On January 21, 2009, Channing Quinichett was driving on the Capital Beltway when a tire flew off a truck being towed and smashed through her windshield.
At the time of the crash, Channing, who was soon to be graduating from the University of Maryland, was pregnant and driving to a prenatal care appointment.
