* The program should exist in all 50 states. * The activities of individual states must be coordinated regionally and nationally. * The current generation of survivors must become more capable and confident. * The next generation of Network organizers must be identified, recruited and trained. * The media coverage surrounding truck crashes and legislative decisions must be enhanced. * Fundraising efforts must be increased to support the network’s expansion An important purpose of the Survivors Network program is to make it possible for truck crash survivors and victims’ families to have a meaningful voice in national and state truck safety policy. Our goal is to build the Survivors Network into a coherent and reliable force for reducing fatalities and injuries resulting from truck‑related crashes.
